2. Comments and media

2.1 When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

2.2 If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included.

Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

3. Embedded content from other websites

3.1 Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

5.1 If you create a customer account through our website and add personal details such as name, address, contact details or any additional information, this data may be exported by us to any file or platform for the purpose of managing customer relations.

5.2 If an order to purchase products is confirmed between us and a payment is processed accordingly, any information related to the financial transaction and the nature of services or products provided to you as well as information to identify you as a customer constitutes data we are obliged to keep for administrative and legal purposes.

6.1 We do not share any information or data collected from visitors and customers to any commercial third-party. The information you share with us is kept private and used only to the extent of operating the commercial activities as purported on our website.

6.2 We do not share any information or data collected from visitors and customers to any government authority or agency, unless a court order is pronounced requesting us to provide this information.

7. How long we retain your data

7.1 If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

7.2 For users that register on our website, we store the personal information you provide in your user profile. You can see, edit, or delete your personal information at any time. Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

8. What rights you have over your data

8.1 If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
